Ambassador Sianga Abílio received on November 18, 2022, in Nairobi, at the premises of the Angolan Embassy an Angolan parliamentary delegation headed by Member of Parliament Teresa da Silva Neto, President of the Group of Women Parliamentarians.
At the meeting, Ambassador Sianga Abílio provided information on the work of this Diplomatic Mission both, bilaterally with the Republic of Kenya and multilaterally, at the level of United Nations offices in Nairobi.
The parliamentary delegation which also included the Honourable Member of Parliament Benedito Daniel and Isabel Maiato, Advisor to the Speaker of the National Assembly and Luziela Fernandes, Parliamentary Official, participated, in Nairobi, on 17 and 18 November, 2022, in a workshop and exchange of experiences for the Parliamentary Committees on Women/Gender of the Member States of the International Conference for the Great Lakes Region with a view to reviewing the legislation, regulations and policy framework on women's representation in electoral management bodies.
