The Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to Kenya, Eng° Sianga Abílio was received, this Monday, April 15th, by the Ambassador of the Republic of Portugal to Kenya, Dr. Ana Filomena Rocha.
During the meeting that took place at the Portuguese Chancellery in Nairobi, the two Diplomats discussed strategies related to the functioning of the Group of Ambassadors of the CPLP Countries, residing in Kenya, namely Angola, Brazil, Mozambique and Portugal.
The two Diplomats then assessed the state of preparation for the festivities on May 5th, International Day of Portuguese Language and Culture.
This year the theme of music was chosen, and from the 6th to the 9th of May, the 4 countries will present their potential and show a documentary, drama and animation. Angola will present a documentary about the impact of the Kizomba dance at an international level (music style and dance), which has conquered space in various locations and festivities in Kenya.
Currently, Ambassador Sianga Abílio is the President of the Group of Ambassadors of CPLP Countries in Kenya.
