The staff members of the Embassy of the Republic of Angola in Kenya presented on January 17, 2020, New Year greetings to His Excellency Ambassador, Sianga Abílio.
At the ceremony, the staff members acknowledged the efforts made during 2019 in pursuit of the current financial and social stability of the Diplomatic Mission and expressed total willingness and spirit of mission so that the challenges of 2020 in the political, economic and cultural diplomacy on both bilateral and multilateral fields are successfully tackled.
The Ambassador, Sianga Abílio, thanked the staff members for their collaboration, whose commitment contributed to the good results recorded in 2019, where he highlighted the election of Angola to become member of the Executive Council of UN-Habitat; the holding in Luanda of the Angola-Kenya Business Forum; the election in Nairobi of the Angolan candidate for the position of Secretary General of the ACP group of countries in a strong campaign led by His Excellency Minister of External Relations of Angola, Manuel Augusto; and the meeting also in Nairobi that His Excellency Vice President of the Republic Dr. Bornito de Sousa held with the President of the Republic of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta.
For 2020, the Ambassador, Sianga Abílio, said that he expects the same commitment and dedication from the staff members of the Embassy to carry out their tasks for the sake of our diplomacy and ultimately for the sake of Angola.
