The Executive Secretary of the International Conference for the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR), Ambassador Samuel Caholo visited, on April 30, 2021, the premises of the Embassy of Angola and Permanent Representation of Angola to the UN Offices in Nairobi.
During the visit, the Executive Secretary of ICGLR received, from the Ambassador Sianga Abílio information about the institution's functioning.
The Ambassador Samuel Caholo, an Angolan Diplomat, made a working visit to the Republic of Kenya, who’s high point was the meeting with the President Uhuru Kenyatta, on April 27, 2021.
The ICGLR, based in Bujumbura, is an intergovernmental organization composed of Angola, Burundi, Republic of Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, Rwanda, Sudan, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
