The Ambassador Sianga Abílio accompanied by the Angolan Member of Parliament Vicente Pinto de Andrade visited on January 25, 2022, the Kenyan localities of Luanda and Kalulu, about 420 km from Nairobi.
The coincidence of the names Luanda and Kalulu in Kenya drew the attention of the Head of the Angolan Diplomatic Mission in Kenya which led him to travel to the region to learn about the socio-cultural reality of the localities.
During the trip Ambassador Sianga Abílio and the MP Vicente Pinto de Andrade passed through the village of Kogelo where they had a courtesy meeting with some relatives of the former American President Barack Obama mainly his uncles and visited the grave of President Obama's grandmother Mama Sara who died last year and the family informed that the final grave will be built in 2022.
