The Angolan Ambassador to Kenya, Mr. Sianga Abílio, defended, on September 17, 2019, in Nairobi, the need for all Angolans to honor the memory of Dr. António Agostinho Neto, the Founder of the Nation and National Hero.
Speaking at the opening session of the commemorative ceremony on 17 of September, the Day of the Founder of the Nation and the National Hero, Ambassador Sianga Abílio said that Dr. António Agostinho Neto should remain an important source of inspiration for the application of important and positive values, such as the fight against corruption, impunity, and nepotism, always remembering the teaching of the Founder of the Nation that the most important thing is to solve the problems of the people.
Ambassador Sianga Abílio encouraged the staff of the Diplomatic Mission to work hard to implement the assumptions of economic diplomacy in search of investors with capital and know-how for the Angolan market.
The commemorative ceremony of September 17 featured a lecture on the Life and Work of Dr. António Agostinho Neto and the recitation of poems of his own.
