The Minister of Economy and Planning, Manuel Costa, launched, the website of the Angolan Embassy as part of the celebration of the Angola National Day, on 11 November, 2019 in Nairobi, Kenya.

The event was attended by the Minister of Social Action, Family and Women's Promotion, Faustina Alves, and Secretary of State of Health, Leonardo Europeu.

On the other hand, during the occasion of Independence´s Day celebrations, the Embassy of Angola inaugurated a new Technology System that speeds up the process of granting visas.

The new system allows real-time and online interaction between the Consular Sector and the related area of Migration and Foreigners Services-SME, which reduces the visa issuing process time.

Minister Manuel Costa headed the Angolan delegation, which included other members of the government, who attended the International Summit on Population and Development, held in Nairobi from 12 to 14 November 2019.
