Luanda ::

A group of Angolan citizens stranded in the Republic of Kenya due to the COVID-19 Pandemic returned on August 29, 2020, to Luanda on a humanitarian flight from Kenya Airways, co-organized by the Angolan Embassy in Kenya and Kenyan Embassy in Angola.

The Ambassador, Sianga Abílio, was at the international airport Jomo Kenyatta in Nairobi to present farewell greetings to the compatriots who embarked back to the country.

The group was made up mostly of students who completed their theological training in Kenya and were unable to travel due to the temporary suspension of airline commercial operations.

On its return to Nairobi, the Kenya Airways plane transported a group of Kenyan citizens stranded in Angola and employees of the Embassy of Angola in Kenya.

The operating costs of the humanitarian flight were borne by travelers and the Embassy of Angola in Nairobi.
