The celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Angola in Kenya was marked by a lecture given by the Ambassador Sianga Abílio and by the publication in the two main daily newspapers of the country of an opinion article signed by the Ambassador.
The lecture on the 45 years of the Republic of Angola as a free and independent country took place in the videoconference format and was attended by Diplomats, Embassy staff, and members of the Angolan community in Kenya.
In the opinion article published both in the print and online versions of the newspapers Daily Nation and The Standard, the Ambassador Sianga Abílio addressed the historical aspect of the Republic of Angola, the challenges of the Executive led by the President João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço and the cooperation between Angola and Kenya.
