Engineer Sianga Abílio Ambassador of Angola in Kenya and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Nairobi gave on August 26, 2022 an update on the electoral process in the Republic of Angola to the Ambassadors of the SADC countries accredited in the Republic of Kenya.
The Ambassador Sianga Abilio was speaking during the monthly meeting of Ambassadors of the SADC Group which serves as a platform for diplomatic consultation between the members of the group.
At the meeting the Ambassadors discussed the results of the SADC Summit, held in Kinshasa, and received from the Acting Director for Africa of UN-HABITAT, Oumar Sylla, information on the ongoing activities of United Nations Human Settlements Programme in the SADC region.
The meeting was attended by Ambassadors of Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Botswana, Mozambique, DRC and Chargés d'Affaires of South Africa and Malawi, and diplomatic officials of the respective countries.
