Ambassador Sianga Abílio was appointed by the President of the Republic João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço to represent the Republic of Angola at the Inauguration Ceremony of Dr. William Samoei Ruto as President of the Republic of Kenya, in an event that took place on September 13, 2022, and that was attended by twenty Heads of State and Government.
Dr. William Ruto, who for the past ten years was Vice-President of the Republic, assumed office as President of the Republic for a five-year term after winning the presidential election held on August 09, 2022, becoming the fifth President of the Republic of Kenya.
